Invisalign® is a system of custom aligners created to correct misaligned teeth. Unlike metal braces, Invisalign® aligners are hardly noticeable and can be removed to eat and drink, to clean your teeth, or for sporting events. Your aligners will be created just for you from a 3D scan of your teeth. This ensures the aligner’s accuracy and comfort for you.

Invisalign® is the preferred orthodontic treatment for adults and teens because it’s created from a durable, BPA-free plastic that allows the beauty of your natural smile to shine through.

Insurance coverage for Invisalign® treatment

What does insurance typically cover?

Many dental insurance plans cover Invisalign® treatment the same way they cover braces. Your insurance may pay for a certain percentage of your Invisalign® treatment, or it may pay for a certain dollar amount. Often there is a lifetime cap on the amount insurance will pay for orthodontic treatment.

How do I know whether my insurance covers Invisalign® treatment?

Ask your benefits manager at work, call your insurance plan’s customer service line, or look through your benefits package for “orthodontic treatment.” Orthodontic treatment is sometimes covered by health, rather than dental insurance, or by orthodontic coverage that you can purchase separately.

How do I know if my dentist accepts my insurance?

When you book your consultation, let us know your insurance details. We can also call your insurance provider to check your coverage.
